WLWBackup Release Candidate

I’m very pleased to announce the public Release Candidate of WLWBackup. This new version has been completely rewritten from the ground up, after a couple of problems were found with x64 systems and XP SP3 systems.

All the relevant information regarding the program, including usage, can be found on the codeplex site for it. Feedback should also be left on the codeplex site in the relevant sections.

Can you provide a summary of the main purpose of this application? Give me the elevator speech on why I need this.

Do you have Live Writer configured just how you like it? All your accounts, settings, plugins etc are all there. What if you want that same configuration on another PC? If you\’ve bought a new PC or laptop, you would have to go through the process of getting all the plugins, configuring all the blogs. It\’s a pain. Using WLWBackup makes that task so much easier. You just make a backup of what you need, go to your other PC and do a restore (after installing WLWBackup). Simple.
